through the history of the united state of America.there have been many example of technology.two example are cotton gin and Assembly Lin  .technological development have had both postie and negative effects on unite states economy and on America society.

 one example of technology is cotton gin .the cotton gin make it easy to pick up seek for cotton.the cotton gin created by Eli Whitney. "Eli Whitney was one of the most significant early American inventors, pioneering mass production techniques as well as the cotton gin"(the Cotton Gin | HTI)).there were positive and negative consequences.one positive people can process cotton gin very quickly and make more products for cotton and slavery in the south grows.

another example is Assemble Line.the Assembly line created by Henry ford.Assembly line make product cheap,and people can of ford them.also gave many people job.one negative effects Assembly line were people lived in dirty and over crowded tenements also young children were working in dangerous condition and got no education.

 In conclusion ,technological development have had both positive and negative effects on unite state economy and on America society.two examples are cotton gin and Assembly line.both examples helped the economy but it hurt society.
